I grew up with the fierce image of Bruce Lee as a martial arts hero on the big screen. The movies, the screams, and the image were without compare. As an adult I didn’t think too much more about him until I started to explore practical fighting styles to add to my martial arts training. Bruce Lee immediately popped into my head. I thought he was amazing and wondered what type of martial arts did he practice? This led to a deep dive into all things Bruce Lee over the last year including his life, writings, philosophy, cultural impact, martial arts, and movies. I’m currently studying Jeet Kune Do and greatly appreciate his impact on the world.
